Paper Clips For Root Canals Lands Dentist In Jail
|
|
When dentists do a root canal they are supposed to use steel posts, and definitely not paper clips. A dentist from Massachusetts has just received a 1-year prison sentence at the Bristol County House of Correction, for using paper clips for just such procedures - he had faced charges of assault and battery, as well as defrauding Medicaid to the tune of $130,000, and intimidating a witness. Dr...

Researchers at the Columbia University College of Dental Medicine have identified a genetic variation that raises the risk of developing serious necrotic jaw bone lesions in patients who take bisphosphonates, a common class of osteoclastic inhibitors. The discovery paves the way for a genetic screening test to determine who can safely take these drugs...

Nanocrystals Make Dentures Shine

|
The hardest substance in the human body is moved by its strongest muscles: When we heartily bite into an apple or a schnitzel, enormous strengths are working on the surface of our teeth. "What the natural tooth enamel has to endure also goes for dentures, inlays or bridges", glass chemist Prof. Dr. Dr. Christian Russel of the Friedrich Schiller University Jena (Germany) says...

Online Pharmacies, Legal or Not?
We are all aware of the whole fuzz about the illegality
of selling and buying
prescription
medication online. At this moment I don’t think that anybody certainly
point to either one direction..
Let’s try to argue against the illegality version:
-
First
of all the FDA implies that online pharmacies are illegal, and their
affirmation is based on:’ Federal law requires that "A prescription
for a controlled substance to be effective must be issued for a
legitimate medical purpose by an individual practitioner acting
in the usual course of his professional practice" (21 CFR 1306.04(a)).”
That fact is, that most meds are not “controlled substances” and
that makes them legal for internet sale.
-
On the
Internet are only less than 10 US prescriptions distributors. If
the Federal Government would have a legal case why aren’t they shut
down?
-
Why some
states had to come up with their own legislation to ban and enforce
the sell of internet prescription drugs to their citizens if a federal
low exists? Here is a list of states where internet meds are not
allowed:
medication shipment restriction
-
To comply
with the federal low all this distributors eliminated the sales
of “control substances” like: Ambien, Sonata, Phentermine….and continued
their business.
Considering all of the above, unless I am missing something
really important I consider that
ordering meds online from US pharmacies is totally legal. If this
activity wouldn’t be complying with the law closing it down should be
a matter of days not weeks!
On the other hand there are hundreds of Overseas, Mexican
and Canadian pharmacies of witch legality I’ll try to discuss later.
How do you know witch pharmacy bases its activity on
USA? Check to see if they distribute control substances and if they
ship in the restricted states mentioned above. They might specifically
let you know what meds are distributed from US pharmacies.
